SecurityOne Privacy Policy
Effective Date: To be filled
Last Updated: July 29, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how SecurityOne handles information when you use the SecurityOne mobile application ("SecurityOne", "the app", "we", "us", or "our").
SecurityOne is designed as an on-device personal security and privacy tool. Its core features include Photo Security, Private Space, Anti-Theft Alarm, WiFi Security, Password Safety, Website Protection, and Settings.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. If you do not agree with it, please do not use SecurityOne.
1. Privacy Principles
SecurityOne is designed to process user data locally on your device whenever possible.
- Photo scanning happens on your device. Photos are not uploaded.
- Password checks happen on your device. Passwords are not uploaded, saved, or synced.
- Website checks happen on your device. URLs are not uploaded.
- Photos in Private Space are stored only on your device.
- Alarm records and intruder photos are stored only on your device.
- Your app data is stored locally on your device and is not shared with us.
2. Information Handled by SecurityOne
2.1 Photos and Photo Scan Results
When you grant photo access and actively use Photo Security, SecurityOne reads the photos you have authorized the app to access. The app uses on-device analysis to identify photos that may contain IDs, bank cards, screenshots, receipts, bills, documents, or private visual content.
SecurityOne may create local scan results, such as photo categories, risk types, scan time, and processing status. These results are used only to show scan results, category lists, Private Space status, and updated scan results inside the app.
SecurityOne does not upload your photos, photo thumbnails, photo scan results, or photo library contents.
2.2 Private Space Data
When you move photos into Private Space, SecurityOne stores those photos locally on your device and protects access with a PIN.
You may choose whether to delete the original photos from the system photo library. If you delete SecurityOne, reset Private Space, or delete photos from Private Space, those photos may no longer be recoverable.
Your PIN cannot be recovered by SecurityOne. Face ID and Touch ID authentication are handled by iOS. SecurityOne receives only the authentication result and does not receive your face, fingerprint, or other biometric data.
2.3 Anti-Theft Alarm Data
When you enable Anti-Theft Alarm, SecurityOne may use device state and sensor information while the app is open and active to determine whether the device has moved or a charger has been unplugged.
If you enable the intruder photo feature, SecurityOne may use the front camera when a formal alarm is triggered. Intruder photos are stored only in local alarm records on your device.
Alarm records may include trigger time, trigger reason, handling status, cancel method, stop method, alarm sound status, photo status, and intruder photos.
2.4 WiFi Security Data
When you use WiFi Security, SecurityOne checks network connection status, WiFi name availability, public network risk, IP location, upload speed, download speed, and network latency.
Some speed or connectivity checks may require network requests, such as downloading a test file, sending random test data, or requesting a latency endpoint. These requests are used only to perform the check and show results in the app. Speed test data is not user content.
SecurityOne does not use WiFi check results to track you.
2.5 Password Safety Data
When you use Password Safety, the password you enter is analyzed locally on your device. SecurityOne does not upload, save, sync, or log the password you enter.
When you use the password generator, generated passwords, PINs, numbers, and passphrases are shown only in the current app session. SecurityOne does not save generated results.
2.6 Website Protection Data
When you use Website Protection, SecurityOne normalizes the URL you enter and checks it locally against local rules and a local phishing database.
Recent website checks are stored locally on your device. SecurityOne does not upload URLs or website check history.
Safari protection uses Safari Content Blocker and local rules. SecurityOne cannot read your full browsing history.
2.7 Contact Information You Send to Us
If you contact support by email, your email address and the content you choose to send may be received and used to respond to your request.
The email draft may include app version, iOS version, and device model to help with troubleshooting. You can edit or remove this information before sending the email.
3. Permissions
3.1 Photos
SecurityOne requests photo access only when you actively use features that need it, such as scanning photos, adding photos to Private Space, or importing photos into Private Space.
You may choose Full Access, Limited Access, or deny access. You can change photo permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
3.2 Camera
SecurityOne requests camera access only when you enable the intruder photo feature. The camera is used only to capture an intruder photo when a formal alarm is triggered.
If you deny camera access, Anti-Theft Alarm can still use other enabled alarm actions.
3.3 Face ID and Touch ID
SecurityOne may use Face ID or Touch ID to cancel a pre-alarm countdown, stop an alarm, or reset your Private Space PIN.
Face ID and Touch ID authentication are handled by iOS. SecurityOne receives only whether authentication succeeded or failed.
3.4 Network Access
WiFi Security checks, speed tests, IP location checks, loading online legal documents, and sending support emails may require network access.
Photo Security, Password Safety, Website Protection, Private Space, and alarm records are designed to keep user data local on your device.
4. How Data Is Used
SecurityOne uses local data only to provide app features, including:
- Photo scanning, category display, and Private Space.
